It always takes something special to beat 2013 FA Cup champions Kelantan, but it takes something extra special to beat them with young and inexperienced players. This is exactly what Perak had done earlier, beating Kelantan 2-1 at home in their fourth MSL match.

They were not given much chance this season after losing a number of experienced players to other teams, and having to rely on President's Cup players and relatively young new signings from UiTM F.C.

But one of these young players has stood out from the rest, and his performance tonight is only going to further solidify his spot in Abu Bakar Fadzim's line up. 21-year old Ridzuan Azly prove to be quite a handful down the right for the visitors, constantly threatening the right wing with his speedy runs and tricky dribbles.

He did not provide any assist or goal in his team's precious win, but his footwork must have provided him attention from across the country. He is still eligible for the Harimau Muda set up, and if not the junior national team, Perak will have a tough time in keeping him in Ipoh at the end of this season.
