This weekend’s Tiger Street Football tournament in Sydney may have all been about the intense round-ball action, but a pair of Aussie Tiger Cage Girls nearly stole the show
Elected by popular demand on the Tiger Street Football website to be the two participants at the Sydney event, Cara and Melissa did not disappoint.
With dazzling smiles and glamorous blonde locks, the duo were a huge hit as they strutted their stuff within the cage.
Though both Aussies, the statuesque pair had travelled further than many of the players to attend Australia’s inaugural Tiger Street Football event.
Both made the long journey across the continent from Perth for the weekend to feature at the spectacular harbourside venue.
And it was an experience they both thoroughly enjoyed.
“I used to play (football) a bit when I was younger so really enjoyed being up close to the action,” said the bubbly Melissa who boasts significant dancing and Cheerleading experience.
“We didn’t know what to expect, and it was a new experience.
“A bit crazy but it was always fun. We loved the experience.”
Melissa’s fellow Tiger Cage Girl Cara was also all smiles after the event despite two busy days.
“It was two massive days, and very busy, but loads of fun,” said Cara, an accredited Cheerleading coach and a one-time participant in the Worlds in Florida.
“Any excuse to come to Sydney is a good thing, but we really enjoyed the event.
“By the end we were really getting into it. We decided to go for Germany and were jumping up and down.
“Hopefully we can do it all again sometime.”
