Robert Alberts surprised at Bwele exit rumour, Felda the earlybirds

Today’s transfer round up looks at Sarawak and Felda.

The Borneo Post revealed a few days ago the rumour that Cameroonian midfielder Guy Bwele is going to leave the Crocs. They followed up this up by speaking to Sarawak coach Robert Alberts, who expressed his surprise at hearing the rumour, as he claimed that he had never heard of it prior to speaking to the local daily. He added that the Sarawak FA had not been approached by any teams interested in Bwele, but did not rule out that Bwele might have been approached personally. They also added that one of the teams that are reportedly interested in signing him is their Borneo rivals; Sabah. The 29-year old has been performing solidly for his team since joining them in 2011.

Meanwhile when interviewed by Sinar Harian, Alberts told them that he is putting a Bosnian striker; Muamer Salibasic, through a trial, on top of the England-based Malaysian Junior Eldstal who had been here for over a week. The 28-year old free agent used to ply his trade with a Turkish club, Torka Konyaspor.

After capturing Malaysia international Azmi Muslim and former international K. Rajan, the Settlers have also confirmed the signing of Sime Darby FC striker Mohizam Shah, reported Utusan Malaysia. The player will join the team as the transfer window opens to complete their maximum local player transfer quota, revealed coach K. Devan to the national daily.
