Another surprising piece of transfer news has emerged today, with 2008 Euro winner Dani Guiza reportedly on his way out of the southern outfit. This has come as a massive surprise since the Spaniard has been performing rather well to spark his team to a comeback after trailing in multiple matches, and that he has also been scoring consistently. No concrete reason has been identified for his sudden exit. According to the website Sports247.my, JDT's 3-2 win over Terengganu on Saturday was his last league match for the Southern Tigers, and an unidentified pair of a Brazilian and Argentine have arrived in Johor Bahru as possible replacements for Guiza. The Facebook page of Dunia Sukan reported the rumour that their former import, Roman Chmelo who had been on their payroll from 2003 to 2007, might be joining them again from Arema Indonesia. Although not much else has been revealed, this might spark further rumours of its own in light of their striker Patrick Ronaldinho’s failure to return to Petaling Jaya after leaving for international duty for Liberia. In his absence, PKNS lost at home to Perak 1-0 on Saturday.
