Goal.com Malaysia takes a look at the on air times for the best football action on TV in Malaysia this week!

With so many fixtures and programs to look out for, Goal.com Malaysia picks the best football action on TV this week.

MOLDOVA v ENGLAND l 8 SEPTEMBER l 2.40 AM SUPERSPORT 3

A depleted England side will look to rely on goals from midfield in their opening qualifier against underdogs Moldova, with just three strikers making the trip. Injuries to Wayne Rooney and Andy Carroll strips the Three Lions of two major threats upfront and the goalscoring mantle has to be taken over by the diminutive Jermaine Defoe and the largely inexperienced duo: Danny Welbeck and Daniel Sturridge. On paper, the injury-hit England still look too strong for Moldova. But, will it be as straightforward as the statistics suggest?

ARGENTINA v PARAGUAY l 8 SEPTEMBER l 6.50 AM SUPERSPORT 3
The White and Sky Blue outfit will begin their World Cup qualification match with a mouth-watering clash with Paraguay as they look to get to a good start in the qualifying matches. Alejandro Sabella will be without Javier Mascherano and Sergio Aguero while Valencia playmaker Fernando Gago is a major doubt for the match through injury. Newly appointed coach, Gerardo Pelusso conceded that it will be impossible to mark arguably the world’s best player, Lionel Messi, but was confident that the element of surprise will be his secret weapon to spring an upset over La Albiceleste. Will Messi run riot and ruin Pelusso’s managerial debut for the White and Red outfit?

SANTOS v SAO PAULO l 10 SEPTEMBER 2.55 AM SUPERSPORT 3

This is the only match that boasts two of the most highly rated and sought-after young footballers in world football today; the mercurial Neymar and the man that turned down Sir Alex Feguson to join the riches of Paris Saint Germain; Lucas Moura. Billed as the “San Sao” derby, this corresponding fixture last April ended with a 3-1 win for Santos courtesy of Neymar’s sumptuous hat-trick.  Will Neymar steal the limelight again this time around?
