The Dutch FA has vowed to take action against the problem of match fixing as an investigation into corruption into football is launched. Should Malaysia follow suit?
The move comes after an investigation by Voetbal International revealed that games in the Netherlands are being manipulated by international gambling syndicates.
Malaysian football has also been implicated this year in various cases of match-fixing in both the Malaysian Super League and the President's Cup. Additionally, the source of match-fixing problems in Europe and the rest of the world seems to be rooted in South East Asia.
Should a similar system be employed in Malaysia to curb the problem of match-fixing which seems to be a persisting problem in this region?
