The ad campaign showcases how the potent partnership of UCL and Heineken can combine to create spectacular artistry
Heineken, the world’s no. 1 international premium beer is running its ‘Legendary Football’ campaign for the 2011/12 UEFA Champions League (UCL).
The campaign has also featured two television advertisements starring five highly respected footballers who have participated in the UCL, namely, Gianluigi Buffon, Rene Adler, Patrick Vieira, Clarence Seedorf and Ruud Van Nistelrooy.
The 'Legendary Football’ ads aim to highlight the ‘stage’ of legendary moments that UCL creates and have aired during the broadcast of matches in over 180 countries worldwide.

To add life to the ‘Legendary Football’ campaign, Heineken will host a one of a kind football viewing event only for its biggest fans. They will be able to enjoy the live grand finale match at GSC Signature, The Gardens this Saturday.
The match will be screened in arguably the largest screen in Malaysia, complete with crisp audio and visual, making it a unique experience that will be as if you are watching it live in a stadium.
Adding more excitement to the event, fans have an opportunity of a lifetime to win an all expense paid trip to watch the grand finale match of the UCL at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany. All they have to do is visit any participating Heineken outlets and they will stand a chance to win this exciting prize.
