The Spanish maestro is back in training and is expected to be in the squad for the Norwich match on Saturday, while his injured team-mates are also targeting first-team returns
Santi Cazorla is on course to return for Arsenal this weekend after returning to full training, Goal understands.
The Gunners are also hopeful of having Theo Walcott back in the squad for Saturday's home match against Norwich City but sources say the winger must be back in training by Thursday to be in contention.
Cazorla’s availability and the possibility of Walcott returning is a major boost for Arsene Wenger, whose squad was stretched to the limit in the weeks before the international break.

The duo and Bacary Sagna joined long-term absentees Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Lukas Podolski and Abou Diaby on the sidelines after suffering on-field injuries.
Cazorla sprained his ankle ligaments on national team duty last month and has not featured for Arsenal since their victory over Tottenham on September 1.
As reported by Goal, the protective boot on his injured ankle was removed earlier this month and he could have made his comeback against West Brom nine days ago but Wenger and his staff delayed the midfielder’s return until after the international break as they did not want him called up the Spain squad for their two World Cup qualifiers against Belarus and Georgia.
Walcott has had surgery on an abdominal injury picked up on September 18 and Wenger predicted he would be out until November but the England international has been earmarked for a return to training at the end of this week.
There is a possibility Walcott could play against Norwich but he is believed to be more likely to return for the Champions League clash against Borussia Dortmund next Tuesday.
Sagna is recovering well from a Grade 1 hamstring strain suffered in the Champions League win over Napoli earlier this month and could be fast-tracked into the squad for the first of the two Dortmund matches.
The right-back is rated ’60-40’ for the eagerly-anticipated clash against last season’s runner-up at Emirates Stadium next Tuesday.
