Sagna thrilled by Arsenal's Ozil capture

The right-back hopes the Gunners' new club-record signing will be able to replicate the form he showed at Real Madrid when he plays in the Premier League for the first time
Arsenal right-back Bacary Sagna is thrilled by his side's £40 million capture of Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid.

The Germany international finalised his club-record switch to the Emirates Stadium on Monday, though, as exclusively revealed by Goal, the deal was covertly prepared ahead of time in order to outwit rivals Tottenham.

Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira has mourned the departure of Ozil as someone who can "make the difference" and Sagna is appropriately excited about the move.

"Obviously, seeing Ozil signing for Arsenal, as a player it makes you feel great," the defender told the press.

"He has a lot of qualities. He showed it with Real and hopefully he will do the same with us."
