But the Argentina striker hopes Mancini has been appreciated for the success he has brought the club since his arrival in 2009 and credits him for an improvement in his own game.
Aguero told reporters: “Roberto is a very hard-working coach who has won important trophies that should be valued by everyone.
“I have a good personal relationship with him, too. He talks to me a lot in training, tells me what kind of movements I should make.”
The 24-year-old scored his 11th goal of the season in stunning circumstances last weekend as City snatched a late draw at home to Liverpool.
