"He did alright considering he's only just come here," he told the club's official website.
"I think he's got loads of energy, which you need, and I thought he did really fine.
"That's the aim for him, to try and make his mark here, and we want him to get to learn the language as well.
"He's at a club where the expectancy level is a lot different to the one he's just left."
