TEAM NEWS: Mikel & Mata benched for Chelsea's match against Fulham

Chelsea pair Juan Mata and John Obi Mikel have both been demoted to the substitutes' bench for the west London derby against Fulham.

Oriol Romeu and Ryan Bertrand have come into midfield in their place, as they support lone frontman Fernando Torres in, in just two changes from the team which drew 0-0 with Manchester City on Sunday.

Martin Jol makes three changes in an attempt to hault Fulham's five-game winless streak, with Mahamadou Diarra, Hugo Rodallega and Damien Duff coming in for Chris Baird, Mladen Petric and Ashkan Dejagah.

Captain Brede Hangeland is still suspended following his red card against Sunderland.
