Match Report
Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) continued their push towards the MSL title with a gutsy display against Terengganu. Although the visitors gave the host an almighty scare by taking a 2 nil lead early in the first half, JDT produced a big response led by none other than Pereyra Diaz.

The man in form and the man for whom new superlatives have to be searched for, as he keeps on making sure that JDT gets a handsome return for their investment. Not as big a name as the player he replaced (Pablo Aimar) but Diaz is certainly streets ahead of his more illustrious compatriot in terms of contributions to JDT.

Three goals tonight to add to the two he scored earlier in the week, Diaz displayed a combination of finese and skill. The first and third goal were down to his desire and industry to be ahead of the opponent but it was his second goal of the match which proves what a quality player Diaz is. A superb curling free kick right into the bottom corner, the ability to keep the ball just over the wall, gave Sharbinee no chance.

On a day when the other JDT star man im Luciano Figueroa was given a breather with a bench cameo, Diaz gladly took on the added responsibility to gain JDT valuable 3 points with the league fast reaching its climax.
