The Blades have had to play seven matches to reach this stage, but have managed to knock out two teams from the top flight - Aston Villa and Fulham - and two sides from the Championship along the way.
Nigel Clough has rejuvenated the squad since being appointed earlier this season, and they have gone from struggling at the bottom of League One to having an outside chance of nicking a play-off spot in the upcoming weeks. United have only been beaten twice in their last 17 matches, winning 12 of those games which demonstrates just how far the club have come under Clough. William Hill price them at 9/2 (5.50) to cause another upset and win at Wembley.
Hull have been hugely impressive this season in the league and cup. Despite not being mathematically secure from relegation just yet, they sit in 12th position and have certainly proved many critics wrong who backed them for the drop.
Steve Bruce's side have had some tricky ties in the FA Cup this season too, having to face Middlesbrough, Southend and Brighton away from home. After coming past them all, they beat Sunderland in the quarter-finals to book a place at Wembley. William Hill price them at 8/13 (1.62) to win, with the same firm pricing the draw at 11/4 (3.75).
It's a credit to United that Hull are priced a little long when you consider it's a Premier League team against a League One outfit on neutral ground. Clough's men have provided some shocks in this competition, but Bruce's Tigers have been very solid this season, so it's tough to see the Blades winning in 90 minutes.
A bet that seems to stand out, despite going against the grain of league form, is over 2.5 goals at 23/20 (2.15) with William Hill. That's becasue the cup games seem to have brought out the best in both teams with United and Hull averaging two goals scored per game.
This bet would have paid out in Hull's last two cup matches, as well as on three occasions for the Blades in the FA Cup. Neither side has struggled in front of goal in the competition, enjoying the freedom to play without much pressure on their shoulders and reaping the rewards of doing so.
