The Kelantan Fan Club has urged FAM officials to step down and give way to those who are qualified to do the job, in order to bring back the good days of Malaysian Football
The Kelantan Football Fan Club (KPBSK) has challenged the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) to reshuffle the top management of the association if they really want Malaysia to get back to its glory days in football.
President of KPBSK, Mohd Yahya Jamada, said that Tan Sri Annuar’s decision to let go of his post as vice-president of the FAM and President of Kelantan Football Association (KAFA) should be followed by those who failed to do their job despite holding top positions in the FAM.
According to Sinar Harian, Yahya said “The difference was Annuar stepped down because he does not want things to go even worse with (the) FAM. We respect the decision though we know we have lost one good leader in football.
”(The) FAM should be ashamed of themselves. We hope that the officials in the FAM who failed to do their job steps down, and give the job to the ones who are more qualified to do it,” he added.
Annuar recently surprised football fans in Malaysia, Kelantan especially, when he announced that he would resign from all football-related positions that he’s holding in Malaysia.
Yahya however insisted that The Red Warriors fan clubs will always support Annuar no matter what, because thanks to Annuar, Kelantan has now become one of the most respected team in Malaysia as well as in South East Asia.
