Poll of the Day: Who will be the Confederations Cup top scorer?

Fernando Torres is in pole position with five strikes to his name, but David Villa, Neymar, Fred, Abel Hernandez and Luis Suarez all remain in the running for the award

When Spain and Brazil go head-to-head for the Confederations Cup title at the Maracana Stadium on Sunday, there will be more than a few players with half an eye on personal glory.

The tournament's top scorer award is still up for grabs, with six players in realistic contention to take the prize home.

Fernando Torres, much-maligned though he may be, is in the driving seat with five strikes to his name, thanks to a four-goal haul against Tahiti and a tidy header against Nigeria.

Strike partner David Villa will fancy his chances too, having already bagged a hat-trick against the Oceania champions himself. Much will depend on who starts up front for Spain in the final.

Brazil have a couple of contenders themselves. Neymar has been on fire in his homeland, scoring sensational strikes against Japan, Mexico and Italy, while Fred also lies just two goals behind Torres.

But Uruguay might spoil the fun before the final even begins in the third-place play-off against Italy.

Abel Hernandez is Torres' closest challenger having bagged four against the Tahitians, while Luis Suarez also has three goals for the tournament.

So what do you think? Will Torres take another golden boot home? Can Villa, Neymar or Fred steal the limelight? Or will Hernandez or Suarez spoil the party before it's even begun?
