The Sweden international has nothing but praise for his new team-mate and feels he could help the team to silverware, while Leonardo is equally positive about his arrival
The veteran midfielder inked a five-month deal with PSG on deadline day of the winter transfer window, and Ibrahimovic is confident that the 37-year-old will prove to be a success at his new club.
"I believe that signing him was a good thing because apart from his experience, he has a lot of other qualities," the Sweden star told RMC.
"He adds something in the mental aspect of the game as he's very strong mentally. He is a real winner and that's exactly what we need. He will help us a lot."
Meanwhile, sporting director Leonardo has high expectations of the former LA Galaxy, Real Madrid and Manchester United man.
He added: "Beckham is a role model. He's a player who has enjoyed success at the highest level and has an impressive resume.
"I think that he will prove to be a big surprise at PSG. He has always played at a high level over the past six years. He is not here for the media exposure, but to win titles."
Les Parisiens currently sit atop the Ligue 1 table with 48 points from 23 games.
