The Dutchman is raring to go again after a lengthy injury lay-off and is confident that he will soon be an important first team player once more at the BavariansArjen Robben has little doubt that he will return to the Bayern Munich starting XI again having returned to full match fitness, and says he is eagerly anticipating the second half of the season.
The Netherlands international spent the past two months on the sidelines after picking up an injury in the international friendly against Germany, but he is now eager to play again with the winter break set to come to an end this weekend.
"It's already going surprisingly well. I'm back again," Robben told AZ.
"I understand and respect the current situation because the other guys did a great job during the first half of the season.
"I don't fear that I'll end up warming the bench, though. I feel that I'm approaching top form again."
Bayern take on Greuther Furth on Saturday in their first Bundesliga game since the winter break.
