Luis Garcia: Getafe deserved the win against Madrid

The Azulones boss has dubbed his team 'worthy' of their shock 2-1 home win against Real Madrid last night, and believes the victory will be a 'boost' to their campaign.
Getafe boss Luis Garcia Plaza revealed his delight at his side's surprise La Liga win over Real Madrid last night, claiming that his team had done enough to grab the three points from Los Blancos.

"We knew where we could do harm to Real Madrid and we were right," he explained to Marca.

"The team has lacked belief, I haven't been displeased with the team, but we have been lacking that something more."

"Now we have to stay calm, they are three important points for the fixture list we have."

Jose Mourinho spoke scathingly at the post-match press conference, criticising his own players and conceding that Madrid didn't deserve to win the game.

"Mourinho does what he has to do and it's not for me to judge. Everyone can say what they want, my team fought and played well. We have been awarded the victory and I thank the fans who have supported us," continued Garcia.

"I will not judge Real Madrid, they have a coach who will judge [them]. I judge my team, and my fourteen players have been very good. I'm very happy with the win and I want to enjoy it."
