Orlando Pirates' Chansa may consider Kaizer Chiefs move

The Zambian midfielder could make a rare transfer from one Soweto giant to the other before the 2012-13 season begins in a few months
Isaac Chansa could cross the floor from Orlando Pirates to join rivals Kaizer Chiefs, if a report in Zambia is correct.

One of Zambia’s 2012 Africa Cup of Nations heroes will be out of contract at the end of June, and his agent Ashley Rasool has insisted that the midfielder’s future will be discussed once Pirates finish the season in order not to disrupt the club's charge for a second consecutive treble.

However, Zambianfootball.net claims Chansa may cross the floor to reunite with Chiefs' new coach Stuart Baxter.

Baxter coached Chansa during their days at Swedish club Helsingborgs IF, after Chansa left Pirates in 2007.

The 28-year-old is considering the move, apparently on the basis that he has been frozen out of the starting lineup at Pirates, despite being one of Chipolopolo’s best players at the Afcon earlier this year.
