The Yellow Fort celebrated a fourth consecutive Kuwaiti Premier League title after a 4-2 win over Al Arabi clinched the crown with four games to play

Al Qadisiya have secured the Kuwaiti Premier League title for a fourth consecutive season after a 4-2 win over Al Arabi on Saturday evening.

The result clinched the title for the Yellow Fort with still four games to play in the regular season.

The success also takes Al Qadisiya's total number of domestic league titles to 15, one short of Al Arabi, who are Kuwait's most decorated club.

Mohammed Zubya had put Al Arabi ahead after five minutes before the hosts turned the game around with three goals in 15 minutes.

Lazhar Hadj Aissa, Nawaf Al Mutairi and Bader Al Mutwa netted to have Al Qadisiya ahead 3-1 after just 23 minutes.

Musaed Al Enazi added another from the penalty spot on 67 minutes to seal the victory, before Mohammed Alnajmi netted a consolation.

Al Qadisiya clinched the title after 17 games, with 14 wins, two draws and one loss.
