Top of the table clash set to dominate the headlines as leaders Vegalta Sendai travel to second placed Sanfrecce Hiroshima, with the winner sure to end the day in first place

J.League Division 1, Round 25 Fixtures:

Cerezo Osaka v. Nagoya Grampus – Nagai Stadium, 6pm

Cerezo picked up an invaluable 1-0 win against Albirex Niigata two weeks ago, a huge boost in their bid to avoid the relegation scrap. Meanwhile, Grampus kept themselves in the race for the Asian Champions League – and maybe even the title – with a 1-0 win of their own against Kashiwa Reysol.

A key player for Cerezo right now is central midfielder Hotaru Yamaguchi (pictured), who has returned from the London Olympics full of even more vigour than usual and forms a formidable partnership with Takahiro Ogihara.

Cerezo won 1-0 when these sides met in Nagoya back in May, to see if Grampus can get some revenge this weekend check your local TV schedules as this game will be being broadcast live worldwide!

J.League Division 1, Round 25 Fixtures:

Omiya Ardija v. Sagan Tosu – Kumagaya Athletics Stadium, 6:30pm

Omiya managed to earn a vital point in their battle against relegation in Round 23 when they drew with Saitama neighbours Urawa Reds 1-1. Sagan continued their terrific season and remain within striking distance of the Asian Champions League after their 4-1 demolition of Gamba Osaka in Round 24.

Key to their hopes of achieving that aim is 2008 Beijing Olympics striker Yohei Toyoda (pictured) who has had his shooting boots on in recent weeks, scoring five in his last six appearances including two in the most recent victory against Gamba.

It ended 1-1 when these sides met in Round 11, to see if either of them will be able to take all three points this time around check your local TV schedules as the game is being broadcast live around the world!

J.League Division 1, Round 25 Fixtures:

Kashiwa Reysol v. Consadole Sapporo – Hitachi Dai Stadium, 7pm

Kashiwa fell to a costly 1-0 defeat to Nagoya Grampus in Round 24, leaving them nine points from the top of the table. Consadole have just one more point than that all season, and their 2-0 loss to Shimizu S-Pulse two weeks ago left them rooted to the foot of J1. Reysol won 2-0 when the sides met at the start of the season, can Consadole hope for a better result in Kashiwa on Saturday?

J.League Division 1, Round 25 Fixtures:

Kawasaki Frontale v. Kashima Antlers – Todoroki Stadium, 7pm

Kawasaki lost 2-1 to Vegalta Sendai in their last match and are in danger of being drawn into the relegation scrap if they don’t start picking up points soon. The same is true of Kashima, and although they beat Vissel Kobe 1-0 in Round 24 they are level on points with Frontale, just eight points from the drop zone. Frontale won 1-0 when the sides met back in March, can they make it a double here?

J.League Division 1, Round 25 Fixtures:

Yokohama F. Marinos v. Urawa Reds – Nissan Stadium, 7pm

Marinos fell to a 3-1 defeat to FC Tokyo in Round 24, leaving them seven points outside the Asian Champions League places. Urawa are still in with a chance of continental competition next year and sit third, although they only managed a 1-1 draw with Omiya Ardija a fortnight ago. It ended 2-1 to Marinos in Urawa earlier this season, will Reds be able to take revenge this weekend?

J.League Division 1, Round 25 Fixtures:

Shimizu S-Pulse v. FC Tokyo – Nihondaira Stadium, 7pm

Shimizu beat Consadole Sapporo 2-0 last time out, making it four wins in five league games since they brought an end to their nine-game winless streak. Tokyo were also victors by a two-goal margin in Round 24, beating Yokohama F. Marinos 3-1 and staying just a point behind S-Pulse.

Much of Shimizu’s recent good form has been down to their solidity at the back, and Dutchman Calvin Jong-a-pin (pictured) has adapted incredibly well to his role at centre-back and provides the team with a solid base from which to build.

S-Pulse battled to a 1-0 win with nine men in Tokyo back in April, to see if they have to work so hard this time check your local TV schedules as this match is being broadcast live worldwide!

J.League Division 1, Round 25 Fixtures:

Gamba Osaka v. Albirex Niigata – Banpaku Stadium, 7pm

Gamba suffered a painful 4-1 loss to Sagan Tosu in Round 24, and although they remain outside the relegation zone it is only on goal difference. Albirex sit just below them in the last relegation spot and know a win here will see the teams trade places. Things ended 1-1 in Niigata at the start of the season, can either side aid their battle against relegation with all three points this time?

J.League Division 1, Round 25 Fixtures:

Vissel Kobe v. Jubilo Iwata – Kobe Universiade Stadium, 7pm

Vissel lost 1-0 to Kashima Antlers in their last J.League game, meaning their last six games have produced two wins, two draws and two defeats. Jubilo have exactly the same record from their last half-a-dozen games but remain in 4th place. It was 3-1 to Kobe when these sides met in Iwata earlier this year, can Jubilo avenge that defeat on Saturday?

J.League Division 1, Round 25 Fixtures:

Sanfrecce Hiroshima v. Vegalta Sendai – Hiroshima Big Arch Stadium, 7pm

Sanfrecce surrendered top spot in Round 24 when they drew 1-1 away to Jubilo Iwata. The side who overtook them in first place was Vegalta, who battled from behind to beat Kawasaki Frontale 2-1 in the last round. It was 2-2 when these sides last met in the league, can either of them seize the initiative in the title race by taking all three points this time around?
