  • My name's Ben Cullimore and it's been a pleasure describing the action to you today. Have a great Easter!
  • As for West Ham, they have now lost their last three consecutive league games, and remain just seven points clear of the relegation zone with three games left to play. They face 16th-place West Bromwich Albion next weekend in arguably their last winnable game of the season, before difficult games against Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City in May.
  • The victory extends Crystal Palace's winning streak to five games, and means that they have now won three consecutive Premier League away games for the first time in their history. They now have two tough clashes at home to Manchester City and Liverpool, before travelling to London rivals Fulham on the last day of the season.
  • Tony Pulis' Crystal Palace side go marching on after yet another fantastic performance. At times they were arguably second best, but their defence held firm and dealt with the continuous aerial assault from the hosts, matching them physically before hitting them on the counter attack down the wings, which West Ham's defenders found difficult to deal with. Bolasie was particularly excellent, as was Puncheon down the right flank, but the entire team's organisation and togertherness is the reason why they are able to return to Selhurst Park with all three points.

    Yellow Card Glenn Murray
  • 90' + 4'
Dikgacoi brings down Carroll 25 yards out, gifting West Ham with their last opportunity to score an equaliser. Noble whips in the free kick but it's too short, and Crystal Palace are able to fire it back out of their penalty area.

    Substitution Yannick Bolasie Jonathan Parr
  • 90' + 2'
All West Ham can do now is send more balls into the heart of the Crystal Palace penalty area and hope for the best. However, none of them are finding their way past the visiting side's defence, and they seem to be running out of ideas as the full time whistle approaches.
  • 90'
There will be four minutes of added time.
  • 90'
Carlton Cole is brought to the ground by Jedinak in front of goal, resulting in the West Ham fans crying for a penalty. However, like so many times before, Martin Artkinson waves play on.
  • 90'
West Ham have pushed so many bodies forward, but they can't seem to find a way past the Crystal Palace defence. A plethora of long diagonal balls are sent in towards Carlton Cole and Carroll in the penalty area, but, after having to deal with them for the vast majority of the game, the Crystal Palace defence are finding them easy to deal with.
  • 88'

  • 88'
Joe Cole once again finds himself in space with the ball, this time inside the penalty area, but his shot is poor and it clears the crossbar by some distance.

Joe Cole picks the ball up on the edge of the penalty area and unleashes his first shot since coming on for Downing, but it swings just wide of Speroni's left post.
  • 84'
Crystal Palace are quite happy to keep possession in the centre of the pitch, rather than pushing for a second goal, but Puncheon lets them down at the last minute by sending a wayward ball out for a throw-in, gifting possession back to the hosts.
  • 82'
    Substitution Cameron Jerome Glenn Murray
  • 82'
West Ham are lacking pace and precision in the final third as they push for an equalising goal, allowing Crystal Palace plenty of time to fall back and arrange themselves before holding firm and cutting out attack after attack.
  • 80'
Crystal Palace patiently push forward, and the ball once again ends up with Bolasie. This time, however, McCartney gets the better of him, throwing himself in front of his attempted cross-cum-shot to send it out for a corner.
  • 78'
    Substitution Stewart Downing Joe Cole
  • 78'

  • 73'
A poor Noble pass allows Crystal Palace the chance to attack again. Ward bursts into the box and beats Tomkins after a slight scuffle between the two players, but Martin Atkinson blows for a free kick to West Ham, bringing an end to a promising Crystal Palace attacking movement.

Great play once again by Bolasie, but his low cross just misses the outstretched leg of Jerome in front of goal.
  • 70'
    Substitution Matthew Jarvis Carlton Cole
  • 70'
Jarvis leaves the field to be replaced by Cole, and the West Ham fans answer with a loud chorus of boos aimed at Sam Allardyce.
  • 68'
Chance after chance for Crystal Palace, but nobody can put the ball into the back of the net! Bolasie and Puncheon are both gifted with two fantastic chances to double Crystal Palace's lead, but both spend far too long on the ball and they remain just one goal in front.
  • 67'
Crystal Palace break away on a counter attack though Jerome on the right wing. He beats Reid and sends a low ball towards Bolasie in the centre of the penalty area, but he scuffs his shot and it loops over the goal by some distance.
  • 65'
A plethora of long balls are being sent forward by West Ham as they desperately try to find an equaliser, but all are being dealt with by the multitude of yellow shirts that have pushed back to defend their lead.

GOAL! Jedinak, who has never scored a Premier League goal before, steps up and fires a rocket of a shot past Adrian, who was left with no chance of saving it. 1-0!

  • 58'

  • 52'
Downing switches to the left wing once again and fires a great low cross towards the far post. However, the angle is too tight his shot rolls wide of the post.
  • 50'
Bolasie brings a long ball down with a great first touch and beats McCartney down the left flank, forcing the Northern Irishman to tug on the shirt of the winger to stop him sprinting into the box. And we're off once again!
  • The two sides are back on the pitch ahead of the second half. No substitutions have been made so far.
  • Despite impressive moments for both sides, it remains goalless at half time. Crystal Palace arguably started the stronger of two teams, but West Ham forced their way back into the game as the half wore on, and Speroni has been called on several times to deal with the aerial threat of Carroll. For now, the Crystal Palace defence are on top, but with each wave of strong attacking movements, particularly down both flanks, the West Ham forwards are getting nearer to opening the scoring.

Bolasie goes down under a challenge by Armero but no foul is given, and the midfielder is left on the floor clutching the back of his head. • 11'
Great play by West Ham! Noble sends a wonderful long-range ball to Jarvis on the left wing, and he sprints quickly before sending a low cross into the heart of the box. However, it's cut out by Dann with a back-heel volley that sends the ball away from danger.
  • 10'
There's a mix-up by the Crystal Palace defenders at the back, allowing Nolan to pick up the ball on the edge of the penalty area on the right hand side. He whips in a looping ball towards the head of Carroll, but Mariappa is able to use his frame to put off the big Englishman, forcing his headed effort over the crossbar.

And we're off! West Ham get us underway, kicking from right to left.
  • Everybody inside Upton Park rises to their feet to applaud the memory of Dylan Tombides, the young West Ham striker who tragically died on Friday at the age of 20 after a three-year battle with testicular cancer.
  • The sun is shining brightly in east London as the two teams make their way onto the pitch, with both sets of fans in fine voice.
  • As for West Ham, they have stumbled somewhat recently, with a run of two victories and five defeats in their last seven league games leaving them in 12th place, seven points above the relegation zone. However, their home form has been impressive, winning four out of their last six games. With tough clashes against Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City ahead, today's game is a must-win for the Hammers.
  • Crystal Palace are easily in the better form of the two sides coming into this afternoon's clash, with four wins in a row under their belts, including impressive victories against both Chelsea and Everton. Since taking over in November, Tony Pulis has led his side to 10 victories, lifting them up to 11th place in the table ahead of today's game. A win here will move them equal on points with his former team Stoke, if the Potters are beaten by struggling Cardiff City in their clash at Cardiff City Stadium this afternoon.
  • Meanwhile, Tony Pulis has decided to make just one change to the Crystal Palace side that picked up a fantastic 3-2 victory away to Everton on Wednesday. Kagiso Digkacoi comes into the starting line up, replacing former West Ham loanee Marouane Chamakh.
