The Red Warriors failed to take the advantage as the Turtles completed an amazing comeback from two goals behind.

Terengganu will be satisfied to hold Kelantan to a 2-2 draw at Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah Stadium. Great determination shown from Peter Butler's boys paid off after they miraculously complete a great comeback after being left two goals behind.

Terengganu started the game with a high tempo as they kept pressuring the Red Warriors from the off. However, Kelantan managed to absorb the pressure and launched several attacks of their own that troubled the Turtles' defence.

Kelantan’s forward, Mohd Norfarhan delights the travelling Kelantanese fans as he managed to beat Sharmiza Yusoff for the first goal in the sixth minute. Decent ball from Mohammed Ghaddar gave space for Norfarhan to strike a shot and put the visitors' ahead. Startled by the early goal, the Turtles doubled their effort to find the equaliser.

Under pressure, Terengganu created several chances but they failed to break the deadlock. Kelantan’s last man, Khairul Fahmi Che Mat gave his best and shown the Turtles that he is hard to beat. Some build up play by Terengganu were easily dealt with by the Kelantan’s defence. Abd Manaf Mamat finally got his chance to fore a decent volley straight towards the goal. Khairul somehow succeeded to tip the ball over and awarded Terengganu a corner kick.

The game flows nicely for both sides as they were attacking each other back and forth. In the 20th minute, the Red Warriors' captain, Mohd Badhri Radzi beautifully sent a swerving delivery to the far post beyond Sharmiza to give Kelantan a two goal lead.

Terengganu finally found a glimmer hope as Abd Hadi Yahaya clawed one back for the home side after picking up a loose ball from a Kelantan defender to shoot it past Khairul Fahmi just before halftime. A quick counter from the Turtles forward line led by Francis F. Doe paid off as it is calmly finished by Abd Hadi.

Terengganu started the second half aggressively as they managed to take control of the midfield. The Red Warriors seems to lose their focus as a high intensity game was being played by Terengganu. A free kick from Ismail Faruqi was met by the head of Muslim Ahmad and scored the equalising goal.
Several changes were made by Kelantan, including bringing in their prolific striker; Norsyahrul Idlan Talaha. However, they failed to have any effect on the game. The Turtles' defence should be given the credit for their solid display in the second half.

This result will surely delight Peter Butler as his side managed to complete an amazing comeback. However, it is a different story for the Red Warriors as they are just three points behind the league leaders and will surely have some shaking up to do before meeting Selangor and Negeri Sembilan next week.
