Goal.com previews the J-League's upcoming weekend fixtures

J.League Division 1, Round 20 Fixtures:

Urawa Reds v. FC Tokyo – Saitama Stadium, 6pm

Urawa are unbeaten in seven games, most recently beating Jubilo Iwata 2-0, and sit in third place coming into this game. Tokyo lost 2-0 to Albirex Niigata in Round 19 and have been struggling of late, losing four of their last five games. It ended 1-1 when these sides met in May.

Tokyo will have to be on their guard in this game, with Yosuke Kashiwagi (pictured) thriving under Mihailo Petrovic, who he previously worked with at Sanfrecce Hiroshima, in fine form as the creative pivot for Reds.

Check your local TV listings to see how he gets on this weekend, as this match will be being broadcast live worldwide!

J.League Division 1, Round 20 Fixtures:

Vegalta Sendai v. Yokohama F. Marinos – Yurtec Stadium, 6:30pm

Vegalta’s 1-1 with Sagan Tosu in the last round means they have drawn four of their last five league games, although they remain in 2nd place. Marinos extended their unbeaten run to an incredible 12 games in Round 19 when they beat Shimizu S-Pulse 3-0.

Sendai may have been struggling to pick up three points of late but in Ryang Yong-gi (pictured) they have one of the most creative players in the J.League so will always pose a threat, particularly from set-pieces.

Sendai won the reverse fixture 2-0 in March and you can see how Ryang and his teammates get on in their pursuit of a return to first place as this game is being broadcast worldwide! Check your local TV schedules to find out where.

J.League Division 1, Round 20 Fixtures:

Albirex Niigata v. Kashiwa Reysol – Tohoku Denryoku Big Swan Stadium, 7pm

Albirex picked up an impressive 2-0 win away to FC Tokyo in Round 19, meaning they are unbeaten in four games, winning two and drawing two. Kashiwa are also in a rich vein of form, winning eight of their last ten matches, most recently 4-1 against Cerezo Osaka. Reysol won 2-0 in Kashiwa earlier in the season, will they come out on top again here?

J.League Division 1, Round 20 Fixtures:

Jubilo Iwata v. Kawasaki Frontale – Yamaha Stadium, 7pm

Jubilo lost 2-0 to Urawa Reds in Round 19 meaning they’ve lost four of their last six games and have dropped to 5th place. Kawasaki ended a run of four games without a win last weekend when they beat Omiya Ardija 4-1. A see-saw game ended 4-3 to Frontale in Kawasaki earlier in the season, will we see as many goals this Saturday?

J.League Division 1, Round 20 Fixtures:

Nagoya Grampus v. Vissel Kobe – Mizuho Stadium, 7pm

Grampus suffered a shock defeat away to Consadole Sapporo in Round 19, going down 2-1 to the team at the bottom of J1. Vissel, meanwhile, were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Kansai rivals Gamba Osaka. Grampus came out on top with a 1-0 win in Kobe in May, can Vissel exact revenge in Nagoya this weekend?

J.League Division 1, Round 20 Fixtures:

Gamba Osaka v. Omiya Ardija – Banpaku Stadium, 7pm

Gamba picked up a point in their 1-1 with Vissel in Round 19 but they remain in second bottom, six points from safety. Omiya are one of the sides who sit just outside the relegation zone and they lost 4-1 to Kawasaki Frontale last weekend.

Gamba’s fight for survival has been given a timely boost with some new signings, and forward Leandro – who enjoyed a brief spell at the club in 2009 – has returned to bolster their striking options.

To see whether he can bring about an upturn in the Osaka club’s fortunes check your local TV schedules as this game will be being broadcast live worldwide!

J.League Division 1, Round 20 Fixtures:

Cerezo Osaka v. Consadole Sapporo – Kincho Stadium, 7pm

Cerezo’s 4-1 defeat to Kashiwa Reysol in Round 19 was their seventh in 11 games and saw them drop into the relegation zone. Consadole remain rock-bottom but picked up a morale-boosting 2-1 win over Nagoya Grampus last weekend. Their only other victory this season came with a 1-0 win against Cerezo, can they make it a double on Saturday?

J.League Division 1, Round 20 Fixtures:

Sanfrecce Hiroshima v. Shimizu S-Pulse – Hiroshima Big Arch Stadium, 7pm

Sanfrecce drew 2-2 with Kashima Antlers in Round 19 but none of the chasing pack were able to take advantage and they remain top. S-Pulse are without a win in nine league games, most recently losing 3-0 to Yokohama F. Marinos. They beat Sanfrecce 2-1 at the start of the season, can they return to winning ways here?

J.League Division 1, Round 20 Fixtures:

Sagan Tosu v. Kashima Antlers – Best Amenity Stadium, 7pm

Sagan drew 1-1 with high-flying Vegalta Sendai in Round 19 and with just one defeat in five games they sit in ninth place. Kashima are just two points further behind in 11th and earned a 2-2 draw with league-leaders Sanfrecce Hiroshima last weekend. It was 0-0 when these sides met in Kashima in May, can either side emerge victorious this weekend?
