Thailand will be hoping Datsakorn Thonglao will be fit in time after picking up a knock in the 2-1 win against Philippines. Meanhilw Kerati Keawsombat is fully fit but will have to fight for a starting berth with Teerasil while Sompong Soleb is a doubt.

"I've watched Myanmar play with Vietnam for an hour and I disagree with anyone who thinks they're minnows," said Thailand coach Winfried Schaefer.

"They have a great Coach (Park Sung Hwa), they've good squad, good tactics. It won't be easy for us. To win this match, we need to perform at the same level as the first match.

Schaefer also touched on the Burmese wonderboy Kyi Lin who put in a starring performance against Vietnam adding: "We must not focus on a single player. If we do that, the rest can exploit us as well. The answer is to make sure there's no ball supplied to him."

Park Sung Hwa meanwhile was feeling optimistic after the surprise draw against Vietnam.

"We played very well in the first match and now we're upbeat," said the Korean.

"We know that playing Thailand won't be an easy game. But if we can draw with Vietnam, why can't we perform like that again?

"We have to admit that we're outgunned in every position but we're still aiming for a surprise result tomorrow and hope to go through in second place."
