Sharp save to deny Giroud early on and had little else to do thereafter as Chelsea dominated the game.
Excellent reading of the game and commanding in the air throughout. A dominant display.
Never troubled defensively and always looked to receive the ball out wide. Stretched the pitch, especially in the second-half.
Good positioning , strong tackling and tidy use of the ball. Could have scored but twice denied by good Szczesny saves.
Strong defensively and always offered an option out the right touchline.
Composed at the back and only really had to worry about Giroud on one occasion when the Arsenal striker got in behind.
The German was a constant threat as he looked to get past Arsenal's high line. Created Eto'o's opener before scoring the second himself with a fine low finish.
The Belgian was classy and skillful on the ball, as usual. Forced the penalty with a goal-bound shot before converting the spot-kick himself.
Scored Chelsea's fourth goal from close range at the end of the first half before placing in his second from 20 yards midway through the second period. Bright display from the Brazilian as he put Arsenal under pressure between the lines and looked to add zip to the hosts' play.
Hardly allowed Arsenal any space in attacking areas. Excellent positional awareness, powerful physicality and good use of the ball. Set up the sixth goal for Salah was a fine pass.
Lovely goal to put Chelsea ahead in just the fifth minute as he cut inside on to his left foot and curled inside the far corner. Forced off five minutes later through injury.
Might have done better with Eto'o's opener and made a definite error as Oscar's shot went through his hands for Chelsea's fifth goal.
Poor positioning and failed to follow runners before being sent-off in the most bizarre circumstances in the 15th minute when referee Andre Marriner sent him off for handball when Oxlade-Chamberlain committed the offence.
The Frenchman was Arsenal's least bad defender at right-back in the first-half but struggled after the break at left-back.
All over the place in the first half as he struggled to cope with Chelsea's attacking movement on the counter-attack. Perhaps injured, which would explain his withdrawal at half-time.
Heroic in the north London derby last week but caught out too often here as Chelsea constantly beat Arsenal's offside trap.
Hardly involved at all in the game but a couple of decent touches.
Lovely through ball to Giroud early on but after that had no impact as Chelsea took control.
Robbed in possession for the second goal, offered no protection for the defence and poor on the ball under pressure.
A total passenger before being replaced by Vermaelen in the 24th minute.
Allowed Eto'o to cut inside too easily for the first goal and conceded the penalty with a blatant diving save - even though Gibbs was punished for the offence. Replaced at half-time.
Missed a great chance to open the scoring early, scuffing for Cech to save, and then went missing. Slightly better in the second-half with some decent touches with his back to goal.
Replaced Oscar in the 67th minute and scored his first goal four Chelsea four minutes later after breaking the Arsenal offside trap and sliding low past Szczesny.
J. Obi Mikel
Solid presence in midfield after coming on for Luiz in the 72nd minute.
His speed and skill were a constant worry for Arsenal. Set up the fourth goal for Oscar with a low ball across goal and almost scored himself shortly after the restart following an excellent run.
Came on in the 24th minute but never looked comfortable with Chelsea's movement.
Decent enough display after coming on for Koscielny at half-time to play at right-back.
Provided slightly more protection for the back four after replacing Oxlade-Chamberlain at half-time.
