Commentary

FULL TIME - An incredible result on an historic night at QSAC Stadium!  Ceres have caused an upset of massive proportions to defeat Brisbane Roar - the visitors struck twice to go 3-1 up before the hosts dragged one back late in the second half but the damage was done and it was too little too late.  A wonderful result for the reigning champions in the Philippines Football League.  At full time:  Brisbane Roar 2 Ceres 3.

Ceres, the reigning champions in the Philippines Football League, earned their spot in tonight’s AFC Champions League Second preliminary round clash after beating Shan United from Myanmar on penalties.
Brisbane have a chance this evening to put their domestic A-League woes behind them - the Roar are currently sitting third last on the table.  However, a thrilling 3-2 win last start will give them plenty of confidence coming into tonight’s clash.
