Larkin Stadium
That is all from me here in Larkin. Stay tuned for the match report, Like us on Facebook and Follow us on Twitter as well. Also, do follow me on Twitter (@keeshchaos). Good night!
That also brings an end to the 2013 Malaysian Super League season. What a season of football it has been. LionsXII are the new champions, in case you don't know. And Selangor will be the runners up, followed by Johor Darul Takzim.
That's it. Selangor will occupy second spot on goal difference, and will also represent Malaysia in the AFC Cup again next year. Very entertaining game and quality football from both sides. But Selangor held on for the crucial point and will go home the happier side.
Full Time: Johor Darul Takzim 1-1 Selangor
90′ +4
Norshahrul tries to float in a last gasp cross but it goes out for a goal kick. That looks like it...
90′ +3
We are edging towards final whistle here. Selangor look like they will make it for the AFC Cup
90′ +1
Substitution Raimi Nor Ramzul Zahini Adnan
What a chance! Azwan Roya with a delicious ball into the six yard box but an unmarked Nunez wastes the opportunity with a bad header
Fitri Shazwan with a spectacular run on the right byline before pulling it back for Mahali, but the latter's shot was comfortably saved by Al Hafiz
Substitution Abdul Shukur Jusoh Fairuz Aziz
Azwan Roya will a ferocious attempt from outside the box, but goes wide yet again
We are into the final 10 minutes here in Larkin. Will Selangor hold on to secure AFC Cup football for next year, or will JDT score another goal and seize the opportunity instead?
Nunez come CLOSE! What a ball from Nazri, and it just missed Nunez's head by inches. A point blank header opportunity there, should have gone in
The Southern Tigers are pushing hard for the crucial goal but the Selangor back four seems to be dealing pretty well as well. We are into the last 15 minutes. This will be interesting
Mahinan with a cheeky one-two with Norshahrul there before firing a shot way above the bar. Wasted chance!
There you go. Thanaraj is brought off for Mahinan. Lets hope this injects life back into JDT
Substitution K. Thanaraj Muhammad B. Mahinan
Yellow Card Mahali Jasuli
Thanaraj looks out of sorts for JDT in the middle of the park. Losing focus too easily. Almost gifted Selangor with a key opportunity there
Gurusamy fired a volley from distance but it missed the post by inches. Away side dominating play
Interestingly enough, Fandi hasn't made any substitution yet despite them needing a goal now. They look demotivated to say the least.
Nurul Azwan Roya takes his chances with a shot, but it predictably goes wide. Griffiths would have blocked it anyways, even if it was on target.
Substitution Adib Aizuddin bin Abdul Latif Fitri Shazwan Raduwan
I must say, Forkey Doe is a real handful for defenders. He has been dropping down the hole behind Amri so far in the second half. His ability to hold the ball has been crucial
Some brilliant football from Selangor there. One touch passes, dummies, beautiful stuff. We've seen quality football from both sides today, hopefully more goals to come
As I said, Selangor looked very determined coming out for the second half and they have received their reward with that equalizer. Pressure back to JDT now
Goal Francis Forkey Doe
GOAL! Francis Forkey Doe curls home a beautiful free kick to restore parity. Game on, folks!
The Red Giants attack through Raimi on the left flank. Amri and Forkey Doe were calling for the ball, but Raimi overhits his pass straight to the hands of Al Hafiz.
Selangor playing with a very high defensive line. Interesting... and can be risky because of Norshahrul's pace
I wonder what both sets of coaches would have said to their players at half time. Selangor look determined
And the second half kicks off!
Players are heading back into the pitch now. Second half should resume in a bit.
Johor head into the break with a slender advantage but the battle isn't over yet for both sides. If Selangor come and nick an equalizer in the second half, they will still qualify for the AFC Cup. So plenty to play for after the break. Stay tuned with us on Goal.com Malaysia!
Half time here in Larkin. JDT 1-0 Selangor
45′ +3
Amri steps up to take the free kick but fires it over. Looks like Johor DT will be heading into the break with a one goal advantage
45′ +2
Counter attack by Selangor as Forkey Doe released Amri on a clear path with a terrific through ball. The veteran forward shows bits of skills to jink pass several defenders, but is ultimately brought down just outside the box. Free kick to Selangor
3 additional minutes
Selangor are pushing hard for an equalizer before the half time whistle. It would change the entire team talk for Irfan Bakti
Mahali shoots from the edge of the box, but it's deflected away for a corner kick. FINALLY, we see something characteristic of Mahali.
Yellow Card Adib Aizuddin bin Abdul Latif
Yet again, Selangor being limited to long balls, which fails to find Forkey Doe because he is being closely marked by the JDT defenders.
Yellow Card Adam Griffiths
Griffiths shown a yellow card for his harsh tackle on Nunez
Irfan Bakti's men need to be more creative offensively. They are too predictable as of now. Forkey Doe is being collectively blocked out of the game by Aidil and Tharmini
Now it's Selangor's turn to attack! Amri Yahya floats his free kick into the box, aiming for Griffiths. But the Australian failed to make connection with the ball as it went out for a goal kick.
Jasazrin broke through the right flank and marched into the six yard box with ease, but his attempt was deflected away to safety by Griffiths. Well timed interception from the ex-Sdyney FC man
That was another brilliant bit of football from JDT! Norshahrul found himself with space on the right flank and he floated in an inch perfect cross for Nunez, who headed the ball just over the bar. They came close there
Other scorelines: Kelantan 1-0 LionsXII, Felda United 1-0 Negri Sembilan, PKNS 0-2 Pahang, T-team 1-0 Terengganu, ATM 0-0 Perak
Quite a battle going on between Adam Griffiths and Norshahrul. This will be interesting to observe as Nunez has been dropping down a lot to retrieve the ball.
Ambitious long-range free kick attempt from Jasazrin, but it sails way over the bar.
The stadium is vibrating now. Excellent atmosphere and certainly helped by Johor opening the scoring as well. We have a real match on our hands here, Selangor will not give up
Johor DT finally turning on the style and that was an impeccable finish by Nunez, who started the move in the first place.
Assist Farid Ramli
Goal Leonel Jorge Núñez
GOAL! Nunez fires from close range after a good cross from Farid Ramli!
Brilliant corner kick from Nunez, but the ball was punched away brilliantly by Sharbinee as well. Inches away from Aidil's head there and could have been the opening goal.
Nazri's deflected cross almost caught Sharbinee there, but the former Terengganu man was alert enough to save it.
Fandi is shouting instructions on the touchline. So much of pressure on him to salvage some pride by winning this game. But Selangor have looked the more confident side thus far.
Some silky football there from Selangor (Amri with a cheeky backheel as well), but Raimi's cross is cleared off for a corner kick
Thanaraj slips through the ball to Norshahrul, who cuts in from the left and unleashes a shot. Unfortunately, it swerves way off target.
... it's fired straight into the pack of defenders and cleared away as a consequence. Selangor can be pretty dangerous on the set piece so JDT need to be careful with that too. Remember, a draw will be enough for Selangor to secure AFC Cup football next year
Free kick for Selangor on the left hand side. Amri is behind the ball....
Some good movement from the away side in the middle of the park. Forkey Doe then goes wide with the ball, cuts in and fires in a shot that rolls wide off the post. JDT better keep an eye on him tonight.
Both sides still trying to settle down here. It's getting more and more evident that this clash will be won in midfield
Jasazrin fired wide from outside the box, after being assisted brilliantly by Nunez. Johor look really motivated tonight
The atmosphere looks terrific as usual, big match for both sides as I mentioned. But as we edge towards the end of the Super League, I shall pay my tribute to the Boys of Straits. Terrific set of fans!
And we kick off here in Larkin!

Al Hafiz
Farid - Tharmini - Aidil - Nazri
Thanaraj - Jasazrin - Ezrie- Nurul Azwan
Norshahrul - Nunez

Forkey - Amri
Soley - Shukor - Gurusamy - Raimi
Mahali - Nasriq- Griffiths - Adib

The starting line-ups are out as well!
Both sides are equal on points (Each with 39), but Johor currently trail Selangor by 10 goals on goal difference, meaning that they cannot settle for anything less than a win. Selangor can make do with a draw, but they will be looking to win considering that pride is at stake here.
The Malaysian Super League already has a new champion in the form of LionsXII but there is a whole new dimension to this clash. Kelantan qualified for the AFC Cup by winning the FA Cup last weekend and the other spot is up for grabs tonight!
Hello and Welcome to Goal Malaysia's exclusive live coverage of the crunching clash between Johor Darul Takzim and Selangor FA tonight. My name is Keeshaanan Sundaresan and I will be providing you with live updates of all the action from the Larkin Stadium tonight!
