    Jonathan Joubert

Looked unsure anytime the visitors put the ball into the area. Was unfortunate with the first goal, but could have done better with the second as he went with his feet rather than his hands.

    Ante Bukvic

Was ineffective as his passing was extremely poor. Didn't get forward enough from the left hand side, which meant that both Shinnie and Whittaker were able to move forward at will.

    Guy Blaise

Didn't like having to face both Rhodes and Miller as he didn't seem to be able to handle their movement when they pushed forward.

    Mario Mutsch

One of the best players in the home side, as when he got on the ball he looked to create, but unfortunately he couldn't find the target with some of his wayward chances.

    Tom Schnell

Had an average game, offering on the odd occasion some forward thinking for the home side.

    Ben Payal

Had a non-existent first half, offering absolutely nothing for the home side. This led to him being replaced by Peters.

    Charles Leweck

The 29-year-old midfield attempted to help out in the midfield area but he couldn't seem to get into the game.

  • Gilles Bettmer

    Gilles Bettmer

Another one of the home side that didn't put Scotland under enough pressure as he could have and was replaced by Turpel midway through the second half.

  • Gerson

    Gerson

Scored with a superb free kick just after the break, had a few good touches in the middle of the park, but he never offered enough going forward for his side.

  • Mathias Jänisch

    Mathias Jänisch

Never offered enough for the home side as he couldn't seem to get in behind the Scotland defence and was taken off for Da Mota at the start of the second half.

  • Maurice Deville

    Maurice Deville

Showed very little for the home side as he couldn't seem top capitalise on Scotland's defensive lapses early on. Was eventually taken off for Bensi midway through the second half.

    D. da Mota

Almost went off injured within a minute of coming on, but managed to carry on and showed some good touched.

    Stefano Bensi

Came on for Deville and offered far more attacking threat, having a couple of chances to get his side level.

    Matthew Gilks

Was more troubled by mistakes from both Hanley and Berra early on as most of the hosts chances were very easy for the Blackpool stopper to handle. But he had some nervy incidents late on, but managed to hang on.

  • Christophe Berra

    Christophe Berra

Was made comfortable early on after the mistakes Hanley made and that transmitted onto the centre back, who started to pick up errors as well. But eventually when he got used to the poor surface he started to look more composed.

  • Charles Mulgrew

    Charles Mulgrew

Looked confident in the middle of the park next to Fletcher and offered some support to Dixon on the left hand side as he managed to get a couple of crosses into the box as they exposed the weak home defence. Replaced by Kelly at the break.

  • Grant Hanley

Grant Hanley Flop of the Match

Was like a deer in the headlights as he made a series of mistakes early on, mostly due to the state of the pitch, which the Blackburn defender didn’t seem to be able to get used to until Scotland went ahead. Had some horrible touches in the second half which nearly cost the Scots.

  • Paul Dixon

    2.50

    Paul Dixon

Given a real confidence boost by how poor the home side were and that allowed him to bomb forward at will. He managed to get a series of crosses into the box, the first of which set-up the opening goal for Rhodes.

  • Steven Whittaker

    Steven Whittaker

Just coming back from injury, but the full-back used the game to gain some valuable match fitness as he was never put under any real danger and that allowed him to support debut boy Shinnie in front of him.

  • Andrew Shinnie

    Andrew Shinnie

Had an excellent debut for the Scots as the first ever Inverness CT player to wear the national colours showed great composure helping to setup Rhodes second goal.

  • Darren Fletcher

    2.50

    Darren Fletcher

Another member of the squad looking to gain match fitness, the national skipper attempted to play just in front of the back four, offering them support and attempting to start forward moves for the visitors.

  • Jordan Rhodes

Jordan Rhodes Top of the Match

Scored two of the simplest goals he could hope to in the first half. The Blackburn hitman was a great outlet for the Scots as he continually looked to burst forward and linked up well with Miller when it was required.

  • Kenny Miller
    1
    0
    3.00

    Kenny Miller

Was a lot happier to have a strike partner next to him, meaning he wasn’t required to do that same level of running as he has had to do in previous Scotland games. Had a couple of good chances to find the net.

  • Steven Naismith
    1

    2.00

    Steven Naismith

Had a fairly quiet game as he drifted in between the midfield and the front two, couldn’t seem to be as great an attacking threat as he would have liked.
