The Belgium international showed all his experience in tonight's game, dealing well with crosses and dangerous plays in his box. Could do nothing about Diego Milito's goal, and made a great save down to his left from Wesley Sneijder's first-half free-kick.
The Italy international was solid almost throughout, showing only one lapse when he allowed Diego Milito to get his shot away for the goal. Otherwise, the 24-year-old was positionally sound, and showed good composure on the ball.
The left-back was left wanting on a few occasions and struggled to deal with the surging runs of Javier Zanetti. Never really made an impression going forward either, and was booked in the first half for a foul on the veteran Argentine.
The Poland international was equal to most things that were thrown at him during the game, and coped more than adequately with the running of Diego Milito. He could really do nothing about the goal, but showed his class on the ball throughout.
The former Milan full-back had a torrid time all evening. He was often clutching at straws when trying to mark Nagatomo, and never offered anything positive going forward. A poor night for the 22-year-old.
The man on-loan from Fiorentina was full of running, and perhaps should have deserved better with some of his crosses. The 30-year-old caused Jonathan constant problems, but was ultimately unrewarded although through no fault of his own.
The 29-year-old was poor all evening in truth. He was out-thought, out-muscled and out-classed by Guarin and Cambiasso, and never imposed himself on the game. A night to forget for the former Siena man.
Was probably his side's brightest attacking spark in the first half. It was just unfortunate for him that he came up against Yuto Nagatomo. The Serbia Under-21 international was full of pace and vigour, but more often than not, fell short when trying to deliver the final ball.
The veteran midfielder was really poor here. He was never really on the ball, and looked flustered everytime Guarin or Cambiasso came near him. The former Roma man's industry was never in question, just his quality on the ball.
The veteran striker was his usual bullish self, and was perhaps lucky to stay on the pitch after making a rash challenge on Alvaro Pereira in the first half. The former Manchester City man worked fairly well with his back to goal, and should have scored on 65 minutes when he volleyed at Handanovic from point-blank range.
The 32-year-old, along with teammate Rolando Bianchi, was not really given the chance to shine on a night when chances for Il Toro were at a premium. He showed some nice touches when trying to link-up play though, but was eventually brought off on the hour-mark.
Came on with 30 minutes to go, and in that short time made more of an impact for Torino than anyone else. His direct running and use of the ball were markedly more impressive than that of his team-mates, and showed Ventura the error of his ways by leaving him on the bench.
Came on with 15 minutes remaining, and never made an impression on the game.
The former Bologna man was lively when he came on, and had one good chance to level the scoreline. His running was intelligent, it was just a shame his finishing couldn't match that.
Coped well on his debut. The Slovenian was commanding when called upon, and dealt with almost everything that came into his area. Made one extremely smart save from an Ogbonna effort in the first half and another, somewhat fortuitous one, in the second from a Bianchi volley.
The experienced captain was his usual reliable self down the right-hand side, and did well when used as both a midfielder and full-back. His running was tireless, and use of the ball was always accurate.
The former Genoa man looked slightly shaky early on, but grew into the game as it went on. His pace and agility were called into question a few times, but it was the 24-year-old's aerial ability that was to save the day: a flying header in the first half stopped Alessandro Sgrigna getting a free shot, and an almost certain goal.
The Uruguayan had a quiet game, and never really looked comfortable on the left-hand side of a four-man midfield. His work rate was always of the highest order, he just never imposed himself when the Nerazzurri were attacking.
The Brazil international coped admirably well with the highline the Nerazzurri insisted on playing, and was equally impressive in the air. He did however, look slightly culpable in a positional-sense, and was booked in the first half for a late tackle on Matteo Brighi.
The former Parma full-back had a relatively quiet game, only really seeing any action when Mario Santana was twisting and turning around him. Was replaced by Ricardo Alvarez at half time.
The Japan international was his usual tireless self, and was often seen bombing around the outside of Matteo Darmian. The 26-year-old provided a good cross early on for Diego Milito, and was a constant threat with his deliveries. Received a stupid yellow card however in the first half, for kicking the ball away.
The problem with being one of the best creative midfielders in the world is that when you have an average game, it looks a lot worse than it probably is. That was the case for the Dutch international here. He was still a hub of imagination and ideas, but his final ball was lacking slightly. The former Ajax man had one good free-kick in the first half, and another curling effort in the second, but was eventually brought off on 65 minutes.
Was relatively unseen, but in his role in this Nerazzurri side, that can only be a good thing. The Colombian was combative when called upon, and dominated Gazzi and Brighi throughout. The former Porto man used the ball well, and has started to show he could be the lynchpin of this Inter team.
Proved to everyone why he should be one of the first names on Andrea Stramaccioni's team sheet. The former Real Madrid man was at his destructive best here - breaking up Torino attacks, and using the ball effectively when called upon. A good night's work from the Argentine.
Showed once again why he's so important for Inter. His movement and industry were top-draw, and the Argentina international topped it all off with an absolute corker of a goal early in the first half.
The 24-year-old came on at half-time, and was rather poor up until the latter stages. The game seemed to pass him by, but he made amends in 84 minutes, as it was his brilliant low cross that saw Antonio Cassano seal the victory for the Nerazzurri.
Came on with 10 minutes to go, but didn't do enough to make an impression on the game.
The former Milan striker came on with 25 minutes remaining and proved his reliable self by scoring with a neat finish late on.
