Khairul Fahmi Che Mat Top of the Match

Conceded two goals but was in his element to produce two wonderful stops. First, to deny Martelotto then late on, to deny Shukor.Khairul just refused to be beaten for the 3rd time in the match.

  • Nik Shahrul

    2.50

    Nik Shahrul

Struggled against Venice in his comeback match after recovering from his injury. Though, to his credit, came back out in the second half to produce a much steadier performance.

  • Obinna Nwaneri

    Obinna Nwaneri

Twice lost track of Marlon’s position and was also conceding free kicks on the edge of his own penalty box but luckily for him, Marlon was unable to convert those set pieces. Will be suspended for the final.

  • Azizi bin Matt Rose

    Azizi bin Matt Rose

Like his defensive partner, Azizi also had a game to forget. Concession of fouls and poor positional play, allowed ATM numerous chances to put KhairulFahmi in trouble.

  • Farisham Ismail
    48
    7

    Farisham Ismail

Had little to do in the first half but his workload increased as ATM switched their attack more towards his side of the pitch in the 2nd half. Struggled to mark Jayaseelan and was conceding needless freekicks.

  • Nor Farhan Muhammad

    Nor Farhan Muhammad

This won’t go down as Norfarhan’s finest ever game in a Kelantan shirt. His usual driving runs from the wide right position was seldom seen.

  • Badhri Radzi
    127
    3
    3.50

    Badhri Radzi

Scored the all-important equaliser that puts Kelantan to the final. Started right behind Nwakaeme but dropped deeper as he was starved of service up front and started to influence the game more.

  • Shakir Shaari

    Shakir Shaari

Had trouble following the runs of Martelotto but probably didn’t help that the defenders behind him were not in their element today. Had to track back a lot to help his defence that was in disarray.

  • Zairo Anuar
    55
    9
    2.50

    Zairo Anuar

The connection between Kelantan’s defence and attackers, Zairo was tasked to move the ball on to his attackers without too much fuss. However, with the attackers well marked by ATM’s defence, his found his options limited.

  • Indra Putra
    82

    Indra Putra

Almost anonymous in the first half but came to life in the second half. Got on the ball more and popped up in pockets of space in front of ATM’s defence to take shots at goal.

  • Dickson Nwakaeme
    83

    Dickson Nwakaeme

For the second consecutive games, found it hard to shake off the attention of Nor Fazly. Did have a glorious chance in the second half to score but struck his header against the bar.

    Zairul Fitree Ishak

Fared better than his predecessor in the left back role. Came on to close down the threat of Jayaseelan and repaid his coach’s faith in him.

  • Fakri Saarani

    3.50

    Fakri Saarani

Brought on to help his team and did just that. Scored the crucial first goal that sparked Kelantan into life. Was a well struck shot that gave Farizal no chance to stop it.

  • Mohd Farizal bin Harun

    2.00

Mohd Farizal bin Harun Flop of the Match

Only had two difficult shots to deal with and both ended in the back of his net. Probably was a little off position for that second shot that Badhri scored with.

  • Fitree Omar
    4
    19
    2.00

    Fitree Omar

Overall, Fitri had a decent game but it was his fault that allowed Kelantan, a way back into the game. Wasn’t decisive or brave enough to put his head (literally) when it counts as he backed away from Fakri’sfoot, that led to Kelantan’s comeback.

  • Norfazly Alias
    6
    16
    3.00

    Norfazly Alias

Again, Nor Fazly had an outstanding performance in the middle of defence, coming up against Nwakaeme. Kept the dangerous Nigerian import under close surveillance, the entire game.

  • Muhammad Shukor bin Adan
    11
    12
    3.00

    Muhammad Shukor bin Adan

Another outstanding individual at the heart of ATM’s defence. On occasions, was confident enough to strode forward to contribute on the other end of the pitch. Almost scored in one breakaway if not for the fingertips of KhairulFahmi.

  • K. Reuben
    5
    22
    2.50

    K. Reuben

Was largely untroubled as Reuben was steady in his defending and didn’t commit fouls. Did get forward when the opportunity presented itself but his crossing was disappointing, to say the least.

  • Venice Elphi
    19
    11
    3.00

    Venice Elphi

His speed was causing Kelantan all sort of trouble, especially to NikShahrul. Time and again, beat his marker to deliver threatening crosses into the box. Tired in the second half and was taken off as Sathianathan look to protect their lead.

  • Bruno Sebastián Martelotto
    15
    14
    3.00

    Bruno Sebastián Martelotto

The livewire in the attacking sense for ATM. Linkman between midfield and attack, Martelloto could be seen all over the pitch in the final third of the pitch. Unlucky to be denied by KhairulFahmi in the second half.

  • Affize Faisal
    6
    14
    2.50

    Affize Faisal

Got the support he needed this time around and together with Hairuddin Omar, kept Kelantan’s midfield at bay. First to push up to pressure Zairo and Shakir from having time to pick out their passes.

  • D. Christie Jayaselan
    11
    15
    2.50

    D. Christie Jayaselan

Was on the ball very little in the first half but started causing more trouble to Farisham in the second half. Produced a pinpoint cross for Marlon in the second period, which Marlon failed to put on target.

  • Hairuddin bin Omar
    18
    12
    3.00

    Hairuddin bin Omar

Provided more support to Affize in this 2nd leg as he was more disciplined in choosing his moments to push forward. Formed the basis of ATM’s impressive first half. A magnificent half volley in the 2ndhalf, sailed agonisingly over the bar.

  • Marlon Alex James
    21
    17
    3.50

    Marlon Alex James

Scored two very important goals in the first half that gave ATM fans hope but was also guilty of missing chances in the second half, from open play as well as from set piece situations.

Substitutions

  • Rezal Zambery Yahya
    3
    19
    2.00

    Rezal Zambery Yahya

Replaced Affize in the second half but failed to provide the same vibrant display as his younger compatriot. Swamped by Kelantan’s midfield during that short 20 minute period as the home side went into ascendency.
