Ulinzi Stars shoot down fellow soldiers in preparations for Wazito battle

Ulinzi Stars shaped up for the Sunday's Kenyan Premier League match against Wazito with a 3-1 victory over Armored Brigade in Nakuru.

With up to five players set to sit out from Dunstan Nyaudo's squad to face Wazito, the tactician would draw strength from the fact that Oscar Wamalwa and Mark Bikokwa can be trusted with finding the back of the net; since the club's proven goalscorers like Masuta Misuta, who is among the five-set to miss the game.

Wamalwa hit a brace in the midweek match with Mark Bikokwa also finding the target to help Ulinzi Stars warm up for the battle against relegation candidates in Kericho.

Wazito claimed a 2 1 win over AFC Leopards in their last game a record that Nyaudo is clearly cognizant about.

“Seeing that they are fighting relegation, we expect that they will be out to throw everything at us.

“We opted on playing a military team because the team we are going to face is also a tough one. I am happy at the practice we got in the friendly. I think we picked some good lessons to apply in the remaining practice sessions and the game,” Nyaudo was quoted by ulinzistarsfc.com.

The Wazito versus Ulinzi clash will kick off at 2.00 pm. Tickets for the match will be sold at Shs200 for the main stand and Sh100 for the terraces.
