Posta Rangers head coach Sammy Omollo promises to work on consistency

Posta Rangers coach Sammy Omollo is impressed with the way his side played in their win against Ulinzi Stars on Sunday.

A Calvin Odongo first half strike brought to an end the mail men's three match losing streak, extending the soldiers' winless run to four games. ‘Pamzo’ is happy with the character put by his players, but is working to get the consistency in the remaining matches.

“No coach likes to lose for sure, and when it happens there must be a reason. At least we have worked on our defensive frailties but we are not yet done, it is a process but I am happy we are close. Once we manage to get it right then we will be good to go.

“Consistency is what we are working on, I am happy with the way we played against Ulinzi Stars. Sammy Okinda is a good goalkeeper but we need to sharpen him more alongside Baraza in order to continue getting positive results.”

Posta Rangers lost Patrick Matasi, Martin Musalia and Farouk Shikhalo in the goalkeeping department.
