Tusker FC goalkeeper Patrick Matasi has apologised to his club fans after a 5-2 thrashing against Kariobangi Sharks at Camp Toyoyo on Saturday.

The Harambee Stars custodian failed to keep his third clean sheet since joining the Brewers from Posta Rangers in June transfer window. “It was just a bad day in office against Sharks on Saturday but I feel for the fans and what they want. For sure it was not a good show", Matasi told Goal.

Tusker's beating was a continuation of Sharks dominance in the fixture, having won two and drawn two in past four meetings. Matasi formerly of AFC Leopards, is however, promising his fans a resurgent Tusker in their remaining eleven league outings with eyes on Sofapaka, who are first on the line.

“We are going to rectify our mistakes and we are geared for better results in the remains matches.We promise them wins so as they can be happy again.”

The defeat left the Robart Matano's charges 9th on Kenyan Premier League log with 30 points.
