And Omeruo, on loan from Chelsea, ended up with the losing side. Although he featured from start to finish, he could not prevent his side from the loss.

The defender has taken to Instagram to express his disappointment and urged his teammates to get ready to fight their way to the top of the Turkish top-flight log as they currently occupy the 11th spot with 18 points, 12 points adrift of leaders, Istanbul Basaksehir.

“Sad to lose, [it is] time to fight our way back up, come on,” Omeruo posted on Instagram.
