Lionel Messi took to Instagram to announce his frustration on Monday, pronouncing the day "f*cked up".
The Barcelona star posted the day after his side fell 3-1 to Real Madrid at home in the first leg of the Spanish Super Cup.
"F*cked up day but you have to pick yourself up and carry on," the 30-year-old wrote. "This has just started."
Perhaps the Argentine will have been boosted by the club's announcement Monday of the signing of Paulinho from Guangzhou Evergrande.
Or, maybe that's what inspired Messi's Instagram post in the first place!
