Mbokani scores in Dynamo Kyiv's draw

Dieumerci Mbokani was on target in Dynamo Kyiv’s thrilling 4-4 draw against Zorya in a Ukrainian Premier League game at the Avanhard Stadium on Sunday evening.

The DR Congo international put the visitors in front after 14 minutes before Vitaly Buyalskyi doubled the advantage for the Capital outfit in the 33rd minute.

Junior Moraes made it three for his side on the stroke of halftime. However, Ihor Kharatin gave the hosts a glimmer of hope when he scored via the penalty spot in the 56th minute.

The deficit was reduced to just a lone goal by Iury in the 75th minute before Silas put the hosts back on level terms just five minutes later.

The visitors thought they had three points when they retook the lead courtesy Denys Harmash in the 82nd minute but Yevhen Opanasenko had other ideas, scoring with three minutes left to ensure both teams share the spoils.

Mbokani who played for the entire duration of the pulsating clash got a late booking.

Dynamo Kyiv have now drawn their last two games in the Ukrainian top flight which saw them drop to second in the log.

In their next league encounter, they play Chornomorets Odessa at the Chornomorets Stadium on October 15.
