Manchester United are ready to move for Antoine Griezmann once again after missing out on him in the summer, ESPN claims.
The report claims that Diego Costa's switch to Atletico Madrid has increased the likelihood of a €100 million deal going through, with the France international apparently keen to test himself in the Premier League.
CHELSEA PLAN MUSONDA CONTRACT TALKS
Chelsea are preparing to open talks with highly rated attacking midfielder Charly Musonda over a new contract, the Evening Standard reports.
Musonda, a product of the Blues' youth system, scored on his first start for the club against Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup last week.
And now Chelsea are planning to offer the Belgium Under-21 international - whose current deal expires in 2019 - fresh terms amid interest from Manchester United and Arsenal.
RASHFORD & FELLAINI DEALS CLOSE
Manchester United are planning to have contract extensions in place for Marcus Rashford and Marouane Fellaini before January, reports The Independent .
Rashford penned a four-year deal last season, while Fellaini saw a 12-month extension triggered, but Jose Mourinho is eager to see both tied to fresh terms as quickly as possible.
MAN UTD, CHELSEA WANT ITALY STARLET
Chelsea and Manchester United are both hot on the trail of 16-year-old Genoa sensation Pietro Pellegri, claims the Sun.
Pellegri became the youngest goal-scorer in Serie A history last season, and has already netted a brace against Lazio this term.
Sources close to Genoa say that the Serie A side will accept no less than £40 million for the teenage striker.
MAN UTD TO EXTEND SHAW CONTRACT
Manchester United are taking up their option to extend Luke Shaw’s contract by a further year until 2019, according to ESPN .
Shaw is still trying to win over United manager Jose Mourinho following a troubled time with injuries, but the club have moved to ensure the left-back can’t leave on a free transfer at the end of the season.
JESUS HAD €25M RELEASE CLAUSE
Four of Europe’s biggest clubs had the option to sign Gabriel Jesus for less than Manchester City paid for the Brazilian striker, claims Kicker .
City agreed an initial €32 million deal to sign Jesus from Palmeiras in August 2016, with the move officially going through in the 2017 January transfer window.
However, Jesus had a clause in his Palmeiras contract which would have allowed him to join Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Manchester United or Real Madrid for €25m, only for none of the clubs to make an offer.

Manchester United are confident David de Gea will sign a new contract and will open talks with the goalkeeper in the coming weeks, according to The Independent .

Manchester United are amongst a raft of Premier League sides — including Liverpool, Man City and Everton — looking to capitalise on the closing down of Huddersfield Town's youth academy, the Daily Mail reports.
