Kakamega Homeboyz forward Noah Wafula signs for Ugandan champions Vipers SC

Kakamega Homeboyz forward Noah Wafula has joined Ugandan Premier League champions Vipers SC.

This comes hours after Homeboyz chairman Cleophas Shimanyula told Goal that the player was on his way out. “We are in talks with Vipers. They have expressed interest in signing him and if we agree on everything he will go.”

Vipers SC have now confirmed the signing of the former Tusker winger. “Vipers Sports Club continues its transfer spending business with the latest capture of Kenyan striker Wafula, who joins from Homeboyz for undisclosed fee.

"The 28 year-old pacy forward has inked a three year agreement which will keep him at Kitende until the end of 2020/21 football season.“

Wafula started his career at Finlays Horticulture of Naivasha in 2011 enroute to Kenyan giants AFC Leopards in 2013 before joining Tusker at the start of 2016 season from where Kakamega Homeboyz snatched him in January this year. 

Wafula's arrival will increase the much needed attacking options to coach Javier Martinez's squad.
