Giroud not interested in Turkey or China move - agent

Olivier Giroud has no interest in leaving Arsenal for a club in Turkey or China, his agent says.

The striker admitted in December that he will have to consider a move in January, having been restricted to substitute appearances at the Gunners this season.

Giroud, 31, has been linked to Everton and West Ham recently, while Turkish giants Fenerbahce are said to be interested in him.

The Frenchman will consider his next move carefully, said his representative Michael Manuello, who dismissed the idea of him moving to the Super Lig or following the money to China.

"[Turkey] does not interest him. China either," he told Le Figaro. "Leaving to earn more money is not what's important in his mind.

"He listens, looks and then he will see. Leaving just to leave Arsenal is no use. It has to be sensible and give him something more.

"He will have playing time at Arsenal, as the second part of the season is important with competitions to play, even if it's only the Europa League."

Giroud has missed Arsenal's last five games due to a hamstring injury he picked up in December, but his agent backed him to bounce back this season.

"Olivier never gives up. He fights for everything. Even if you tell him it's impossible, he'll listen to you but make you understand that he does not think the same thing."
