Everton confirms date for a friendly against Kenyan champions Gor Mahia

This will be the first time ever that an East African club has contested a match in the UK soil

Gor Mahia will take on English Premier League side Everton at the Goodison Park, Liverpool in England on November 6.

Everton, who beat K’Ogalo 2-1 in the first-ever meeting between both sides in July 2017 in Tanzania, confirmed the dates of the match that will kick-off at 10pm (Kenyan time).

Everton also announced the ticketing info for the match where adults will have to part with about Sh600 with kids paying around Sh130.

Proceeds from the match will go to charity work by Everton in the Community to enable the club’s official charity to continue its ground-breaking work across Merseyside and around the world.

This will be the first time ever that an East African club has contested a match in the UK soil.

Gor Mahia booked a ticket to Liverpool after downing Tanzania side, Simba SC  2-0 in the Super Cup played at the Afraha Stadium in June.
