Ayub Timbe scored his fifth goal in seven games after he helped Beijing Renhe beat 10-man Beijing Guoan 3-0 in the Chinese Super League on Saturday.
Renhe took the lead in the sixth minute through Benjamin Moukandjo before Guoan were reduced to a man down. This came after Jiang Tao was shown a straight red card in the 17th minute.
Renhe could not immediately capitalize on their numerical advantage and they had to wait until the 44th minute, when the Kenyan winger scored his fifth goal of the season, to help the home side double their advantage over the league leaders.
Renhe, who took their point tally to 24, following the victory, added a third and final goal of the game in the 69th minute via Senegalese Makhete Diop.
Diop coolly converted from the spot after Renhe were awarded a penalty.
Timbe hit a brace against Tianjin Quanjian on Sunday to become the first Kenyan to have scored two goals in a Chinese Super League.
