AFC Leopards Coach James Nandwa has shifted his attention to their league encounter against Western Stima on Wednesday at Mumias Complex. Ingwe travelled to Mumias immediately after their 3-0 win over Karuturi Sports in the Gotv Shield Cup quarter-final match on Sunday.

“We will be facing a very tough Western Stima side but we are focused on winning. Our target is still to win all of our remaining matches and see what comes out of it. We need to keep the consistency and hard work,” Nandwa told Goal.

He was elated seeing his side triumph to reach the last four of GOtv competition and has exuded confidence they can make it to the finals. “The secret is taking each game at a time and with that we can make it to the finals. I believe in the abilities of the boys and with jow they play and that target is realistic."

The coach also heaped praise on his defense which has kept four straight clean sheets since he took over at the den. “The defense has shown very good form with Saleh and Kimani keeping four straight clean sheets. We have also scored eight goals which is something really commendable and I would like the players to keep up with that form."

AFC Leopards will play with Sofapaka in the semi-finals of the tournament on October 20.
