thumbnail Hello,

The Blues have the perfect opportunity to stretch their lead on the table to four points with a win at the Hawthorns

Chelsea have not had success on their last two visits to the Hawthorns but on the back of their current form, Jose Mourinho stands as favorite to come out of the tie with a win.

With six clean sheets out of eight games, the Blues can be backed at 1/2 with Ladbrokes to stretch their lead on the league table.

West Bromwich Albion will provide another stiff test for the Londoners at home. They are very strong and difficult to beat but are without a win in their last four games. They manage to pick a point against high scoring Liverpool and Everton at home. Pep Mel's team are chalked at 6/1 with Ladbrokes to continue their impressive home record against the Blues.

The last time both sides met at Stamford Bridge, the west Midlands club almost ended Mourinho's unbeaten home record but a late penalty converted by Eden Hazard ended the game two all and a repeat of the same score line with Ladbrokes is put at 18/1 for punters.

Hazard's first hat-trick in English football completed a comfortable 3-0 victory over Newcastle to move Mourinho's men to the top of the Premier League for the first time this season. The Belgian has enjoyed a lot of praise in recent weeks for his display against Manchester City and Newcastle. He is put at 5/1 with Ladbrokes to score the first goal of the game whiles the same firm offers him 11/8 to find the back of the net any time in the game.

Chelsea captain John Terry was not risked against Newcastle after picking up a knock, but the defender is expected to feature in today's game whiles  striker Fernando Torres could make his comeback at Albion after a lay-off with a knee problem.

Albion will be without Jonas Olsson (hamstring) and former Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka (knee), while Sessegnon who got a goal against Chelsea in their last meeting is out of the game with a groin injury.
