English soccer side Sheffield United have announced local car dealership John Holland Sales as their new shirt sponsor.
The Yorkshire-based prestige and sports car specialist has signed an initial one-year, six-figure deal with the League One club.
As part of the agreement, John Holland Sales branding will be displayed on the front of the Blades’ new Adidas-made home and away shirts this season.
“We are delighted to be working with a locally based brand and organisation which has a terrific reputation for quality and service,” said Paul Reeves, United’s head of commercial. “This is a one year deal with an option to extend.”
The new deal is the third commercial agreement announced by the Blades in the past few days, following tie-ups with new kit supplier Adidas and back of shirt sponsor DLB Logistics.
