Sports apparel manufacturer Warrior has entered into a unique partnership with Norwegian Tippeligaen soccer side Odds BK.
The agreement will see the US-headquartered brand supply the side’s home and away playing kits and training gear. Additionally, and uniquely, it will also become the boot supplier to all of the club’s players.
Terje Wilhelmsen, the head of Warrior’s Norwegian distributor, Active Sportswear International Norway, commented: “We are very excited to announce that Active Sportswear International Norway (Warrior Norway) has partnered with Odd, one of Norway’s best and most successful football teams. This is one of the first deals where a top flight clubs’ players will unanimously wear one brand’s product, further demonstrating Warrior’s unique and modern approach to working with clubs.”
Warrior Football’s general manager, Richard Wright, added: “Our partnership with Odd gives us an opportunity to continue to grow the brand globally in a modern and exciting way. We’re looking forward to working with the club and engaging with the fans.”
Founded in 1885, the Skien-based outfit are the oldest active Norwegian soccer club and has won the Norwegian Cup on twelve occasions, most recently in 2000.
