English Premier League side Sunderland have signed an agreement with luxury fashion retailer Cruise.
The deal will see Cruise become the Black Cats’ official suit provider for their Capital One Cup final against Manchester City this weekend, before continuing through until the 2014/15 season.
Cruise will dress both first-team players and manager Gus Poyet ahead of the Wembley showdown on Sunday.
The partnership will also see Cruise become an official business partner of the club, giving them multiple promotional rights including LED perimeter and jumbo screen advertising at The Stadium of Light as well as match-day programme advertising at all home games.
Commenting on the new partnership, Sunderland AFC’s commercial director Gary Hutchinson said: “The Hugo Boss suits provided by Cruise are of an exceptional standard and are highly on trend with this season’s latest cut and will give players and staff a unified and sophisticated appearance, the suits will be worn by members of the squad and staff at official club engagements.”
