German soccer club Bayer 04 Leverkusen have agreed a sponsorship deal with health insurance brand Pronova BKK.
The Ludwigshafen-based company will become the official healthcare partner of the Bundesliga side until the end of the 2015/16 season, joining the likes of Fujifilm, Happy Bet and Opel in the second tier of club sponsors.
Pronova BKK, which provides healthcare services to club owner Bayer AG, will offer its services to Leverkusen players and promote its partnership with a range of healthy living campaigns. It will also be the sponsor of the family enclosure at the Bay Arena.
According to Sponsors.de, the deal is worth a sum in the mid six-figure euro range.
Bayer Leverkusen, who are currently second in the Bundesliga table, will resume their league campaign after the winter break with a trip to SC Freiburg on Saturday 25th January.
