State-run gaming company Lotto Bayern has extended its sponsorship deal with Bundesliga soccer club 1. FC Nürnberg for another season.
The new deal will take the relationship to the end of the 2014/15 season.
A long-term sponsor of the club, Lotto Bayern last extended its deal in July 2012 for a two-year period.
Brokered by 1. FC Nürnberg marketing partner Sportfive, the new deal will see Lotto Bayern advertised through club marketing channels and keep a significant amount of hospitality inventory at the club’s Grundig Stadion home.
Although financial details have not been released, the deal is likely to be worth the same €400,000 (US$544,000) annual sum as the previous one.
Having finished the 2012/13 season in tenth place in the Bundesliga, 1. FC Nürnberg currently sit 17th at the halfway point this season.
